Hen and Chicks Sewing School

In a cheerful home environment children learn to sew their own clothes and crafts. They become familiar with sewing machine safely and use, notions and tools, pattern fitting and cutting, and constructing garments. Classes include four students at a time. Machines are provided.

  Curriculum                                                                                                            The curriculum is specifically designed for children and is from Kids Can Sew and other sources. Projects include: sewing bag, skirt, pants, blouse, etc. A variety of fun crafts teach sewing skills as well. Ages 12 years old and up may use commercial patterns.
